eSalon claims to provide completely personalised hair colour for home use. Each colour is custom blended for each person, just like in a salon. eSalon uses a patent-pending technology which enables distinct customisation on a large scale. They mention that their products are made of high-quality, nutrient-rich ingredients that leave your hair soft, shiny, and provide complete grey coverage. 

If this is all true, then heck yeah I would give their products a go especially if it saves me money in the long run.  

eSalon takes each customer through a survey that considers your natural hair colour, any grey hair, skin tone, eye colour etc so that their expert colourists can create your own personalised hair colour. eSalon will then mail it to you for a convenient home application. You will apparently get salon results in the comfort of your home!!!

Dying my hair is often quite tricky for me as I have the darkest brown, almost black natural hair colour. My type of hair struggles to pick up any colour unless I go to a salon that is familiar with my hair. I may consider trying eSalon =)

TIME FOR CHANGE

As everyone may have seen on all my social media networks I have changed my blog name from  

Makeup By Ess Marie to Beauty By Ess Marie.

Although I am more makeup orientated I also delve into other beauty related subjects such as hair, skin and nails so I thought to change up the name. If I can help my readers in any little way by sharing my findings and tips, I would most definitely put it up on this blog.

I hope you all agree with the name change if not, tough!!! Hahaha just kidding!

BREW BOX... BUBBLE TEA

Last weekend I went to a new bubble tea place called BREW BOX situated in the heart of Angel, Islington's high street. If you are seeking for a bubble tea place check out this new spot.

I definitely think that the location is great and the owners themselves are really lovely and helpful. If you are stuck on what flavour to choose they will certainly recommend from one of their 15+ flavours. The place itself is cosy, modern, new and fun with a touch of street art on their walls. The atmosphere is definitely somewhere you can go to hang out with your friends and have a beverage or snack.

Without a doubt I see room for growth but seeing what has been achieved so far since their opening only 2 months ago, I can see it becoming a great success!!!

My Recommendations:

More entertainment (more games, TV etc)

Brew Box deck of cards for shop & for purchase

Air Con (due to be done)

Advertisement (leaflets/flyers, man dressed as bubble tea cup on high street LOL etc)

Loyalty Cards

From speaking to the owners they have great ideas coming your way! Ideas/plans on seating outside, entertainment, advertisement, events... most importantly AC because of this extremely hot summer I was sweating up in that place & of course a lot more!!! Great job guys keep up the good work!

U.S BRANDS COMING OVER TO THE U.K

Remember in the last post I mentioned Boots brought over Stateside's number one selling brand of nail color and care?

Now Boots have brought over from the US to the UK another nail brand... SINFUL COLORS!!!

I have heard the 'hype' about this nail brand from many YouTube gurus and bloggers... I think the reason for that is due to the colour payoff and the fact that price is soooo affordable retailing at £1.99 per bottle!!!

 WAIT THERE'S MORE... 

 

 

Boots are not the only store that is bringing US brands over to the UK!!!

To my surprise after finding Sinful Colors in Boots I went to Superdrug to see if Sleek had anything new... there it was in Superdrug... NICOLE BY OPI!!!

Another nail brand that is a huge success in the States! I was in heaven! To think I was only 'window shopping' and not planning to spend but I could not help myself!!!

The colour payoff is amazeballs but the price is quite high. So while there is a 3FOR2 offer at Superdrug I say now is a great time to try Nicole by OPI out!!!

SALLY HANSEN COMPLETE PRODUCT LINE IN BOOTS UK

Apologies to my readers! I have not posted anything as of lately however I have been meaning to -_-

Staying on top of things is extremely hard especially when you have a full-time job as well as other responsibilities... I do have a life outside of blogging. Having said that... even when I am constantly 'on the go' I always think of what can help my readers or what may interest them.

12th MAY 2013 (late post)

 The day before I went to 'Go Ape' for a friend's birthday and somehow the next day on the 12th May I still managed to wake up early and go shopping. My arms were aching from the previous day and thought that there was no chance that I would be able to go out the next day.

Somehow I managed to get myself up and after doing the shopping that was needed, my partner and myself thought to look around and see what was new. Mostly every shopping trip that I go on, if there is a Boots or Superdrug, you would see me in there or both... I am grateful my partner is patient with me =]

To my surprise I saw the complete range of Sally Hansen's Salon Manicure!!! Not only was there a full range but Boots also had Sally Hansen's Salon Effects, GEMcrush & Treatments! Well done Boots for bringing Stateside's brands over to the UK! I wonder what is next?!

One more thing... I didn't know Boots had a service to help you find your foundation match. Has anyone tried this service? How was it? Did it work for you?

If they ask what type of skin you have, what finish you would like, and what your colour undertone is... then you are on the right track and the beauty consultant most probably knows what she's talking about.

THE NEW THING IN...

I was looking through Instagram & came across a post introducing these cool shadow shields!

A lot of us beauty lovers know how annoying it can be when fallout hits our ready made face or on our clients. We have all tried many ways to stop this from happening... Using tissue, scotch tape etc. Finally someone has come up with a solution :) Well done!!!
