1st Purchase From Sigma: Mr. Bunny Black Essential Kit

This is my first purchase from Sigma and I can honestly say that I cannot be any happier with the quality of these brushes. The bristles on the brushes are far softer than your average high street brands giving you the ability to glide on makeup with ease and precision.

I purchased the Mr. Bunny Black Essential Kit and it contains 12 brushes… 4 for the face and 8 for the eyes. I am NOT getting sponsored to do this review and purchased it with my own money so it’s 100% my own opinion. The brush kit is $109.00 but compared to high end brands such as MAC I think its value for money. Each brush is stated what it is assigned to do on their website however I am going to let you guys know I use each brush for as it may be different. I am not stating that the way I use the brushes are the only way or the best way to use them… it’s just my preference.

When receiving the brush kit it will come in this cute packing. The package includes a brush cup holder and the 12 brushes that are each individually wrapped in a protective plastic cover

Brushes in this kit:

Foundation - F60 It is recommended for foundation, however I use this brush for my concealer... not to apply but to blend the concealer down towards your cheeks giving you a natural finish.

Duo Fibre - F50 Use this brush for foundation which will give you an airbrush finish. Lightly use with stipple and sweeping circular motions.

Large Powder - F30 A great dense rounded brush for face powders.

Large Angled Contour - F40 The angled brush is excellent to contour a face as it fits nicely underneath your cheek bones.

Concealer - F70 This brush is great for concealer for under the eyes but personally I would not use it on my face e.g. on cheeks

Eye Liner - E05 This brush has an extra fine-tip and is great for gel eyeliner especially to produce fine strokes.

Small Angle - E65 More the kind of brush I would use for gel eyeliners as it is easier to apply having the slant angle help you glide it along your eye with more precision and ease. You could also use this to apply eye shadow right underneath your water line.

Large Shader - E60 This flat tapered wide brush helps me apply eye shadow primers evenly.

Eye Shading - E55 For use to pack on colour on your eyes as it has short round dense bristles.

Tapered Blending - E40 A brush that will make so much difference! Used to apply eye shadow on the crease and to evenly blend out the colour.

Pencil - E30 Precise application of color on the crease, outer corner, upper and lower lash line.

Medium Angled Shading - E70 For highlighting underneath your eyebrows.

The brush cup holder is a great way to store your brushes on your vanity table and safe way to travel with your brushes without them getting damaged.
